National Pink Gin Day

National Pink Gin Day is totally happening on Thursday 3rd August. But why? And what even is it?

You’ve probably heard of World Gin Day (second Saturday in June, get it in your diaries if it’s not already in there!) A day where the World (yes, it truly is a global event these days) comes together to celebrate the crafty little spirit.

Which is great. BUT.

We couldn’t help but notice that there is a Gin sub-category that is getting overlooked. Is it because of its unique hue? So often stereotyped as ‘girlie’. Is it because one assumes that by the very nature of its colour it must either be a) sickeningly sweet or b) pumped full of colouring?

Well. We thought it was high time we corrected the above assumptions and not only started to give Pink Gin the respect it deserves, but to demonstrate that despite appearances, Pink Gin packs quite a punch.

So, we’ve joined up with Edgerton Pink Gin to hold the very first National Pink Gin Day on Thursday 3rd August 2017.

A day where we’ll be celebrating all that’s great about this colourful creation, encouraging people to sample it for themselves, and suggesting new ways to sip pink tipples – all whilst hopefully showing that men, women, everyone (over 18…) can all drink pink.

What’s happening?
